Waterford Film Festival: The Waterford Film Festival was established in 2007 by local filmmaker Stephen Byrne. His objective was to bring something new to Waterford's arts and cultural scene, promoting local, national filmmakers and writers, but in particular independent film. Since the foundation of the festival, we have screened 500+ films from filmmakers around the world as well promoting writers with the short screenplay competition. Filmmakers from across Ireland, UK, France, Germany, Holland and as far as Canada and USA have attended the festival. The festival has awarded prizes worth in excess of €35,000 with our partners at FilmLab, since 2007. The festival is now is celebrating its 12th Annual Event this year and Central Arts will be hosting the event from Friday 30 Nov to Sunday 2nd December.

Maryland International Film Festival: Welcome, filmmakers, to the Maryland International Film Festival-Hagerstown. We are excited about our 8th year coming up on March 29-31, 2019. We are Movie Magazine's top 50 festival worth their entry fee. For 8 years, we've been bringing in the finest films from around the world. The film festival became a 501(c)3 and launched in 2009 and now screens more than 100 films each year! Hollywood Director Joe Carnahan is our creative director, and has been a powerful partner with our festival! He has brought us such films as "The Grey" and "The A-Team" with Liam Neeson and just finished filming Boss Level with Mel Gibson. He now has his own production company with Frank Grillo.
